The ELTHAM College Board will select a work or works to be purchased and on permanent display at Swipers Gully and or the College.

People’s Choice Award
Guests attending the Opening Night are asked to vote for their favourite 2D and 3D works. The winners of this award will receive the opportunity to hold a joint exhibition at Swipers Gully Vineyard & Restaurant in 2012.

We are pleased to announce that winners of the 2011 People’s Choice Award are:

We look forward to their exhibition, which will be held in 2012.


Best In Show
There was a split decision for the award for Best in Show for 2011, therefore the prize will be shared by two artists.

2009 AWARDS:

Best In Show
This $1000 prize is awarded to the artist whose work is deemed “Best in Show” by a panel of experts.  The panel for 2009 will comprise:
    - Sigmund Jorgensen representing Montsalvat Artists community;
    - Delsha Rees, Curator Nillumbik Council Arts Acquisition; and
    - Margot Tasca representing ELTHAM College of Education.

We are pleased to announce the 2009 winner of Best in Show is
Silvi Glattauer.


Bendigo Bank People’s Choice
Guests attending the Opening Gala night are asked to vote for their favourite 2D and 3D works. The winners of this award will receive the opportunity to hold a joint exhibition at Swipers Gully Vineyard & Restaurant in 2010.

We are pleased to announce that winners of the Bendigo Bank People’s Choice Award are
Janet Ayliffe and Paul Barton.  We look forward to their exhibition, which will be held 5 – 25 June 2010.

2007 AWARDS:

2007 has seen the introduction of 3 new awards for artists exhibiting in MASTERWORKS. 

Best In Show
This $1000 prize is awarded to the artists whose work is deemed “Best in Show” by a panel of experts. The panel will comprise: Chris Heyson, (Grandson of the late Hans Heyson and Chairman of ELTHAM Board), representing ELTHAM College of Education; Sigmund Jorgensen representing Montsalvat Artists community; celebrated sculptor Deborah Halpern representing the artistic community and Isobel Clements of Nillumbik Council Arts Acquisition and Collections.

We are pleased to announce the 2007 winner of Best In Show is:
Janet Ayliffe from South Australia.


Bendigo Bank People’s Choice
This award requires all guests at the Opening Gala voting for their favorite artist. The winner receives the opportunity to hold a Solo Exhibition at
Swipers Gully Vineyard and Restaurant.  We are thrilled to announce that the inaugural winner of the Bendigo Bank People’s Choice Award is Faye Alexander’s work “Against the Odds 1”.  We look forward to Faye’s solo exhibition next year.
