Faye De Pasquale

Faye has had a life-long involvement in the arts, as an art educator and artist; her career in art began with full time study at Prahran Institute, certificate and diploma, training in fine art and graphic studies.

As an art educator, Faye has worked tirelessly at all levels in the community; she has held the position of Senior Art teacher in public and private schools, teaching painting and fine art, proving an inspiration to many.  She continues to participate in community involvement in art programs, here and in country Victoria and to display her expertise by conducting adult workshops, covering a wide range of art skills and disciplines.

Faye has exhibited extensively for the past 40 years, having held a number of solo and group exhibitions and is the recipient of many awards.  Her work features in several private and public collections.  The work in this exhibition is a testament to this dedication and expertise, taking for its inspiration the vibrant colour and seductive patterns of the Australian outback.
