Sheryl has lived in the Nillumbik Shire for over 25 years. Her appreciation for art came with living in an area where art, conservation and the protection of native fauna and flora are part of her life.
She completed an Associate Diploma of Visual Arts at NMIT Greensborough in 1995 and has painted the landscape around her ever since. Her work is always evolving along with the landscape that she paints.
Her multi-award winning work is represented in private and corporate collections throughout Australia, Japan and New York.
Her most recent award was in 2008, winning best painting at Canterbury Art Show which was judged by Dr John Gregory, Senior Lecturer of Theory of Art and Design at Monash University.
Sheryl has exhibited in two exhibitions of the Nillumbik Art Prize and won the Peoples Choice Award in 2003. She has held three major solo exhibitions at Evelyn County Estate, Kangaroo Ground. Last year she received a commission by Were Street Food Store, Montmorency where three of her works can be seen.
