Faye de Pasquale

Faye has worked passionately as a teacher and artist for many years. After first completing a Diploma of Art Studies at Prahran Institute, she was employed as an artist in the studio at Holeproof, Brunswick. Feeling a need for more ‘people interaction’, she completed teacher training/art at Hawthorn Institute. She taught in schools and colleges and worked as a specialist art teacher, teaching painting to Year 12 students.  She has lived in the Mansfield region, working as an artist and teaching art to adults.

Five years ago Faye took ‘a giant leap’ and came back to live in Melbourne to further her art career. This has proved to be an exciting period, as she has found a new direction resulting from a journey to central Australia and the outback. The work you see in this exhibition is a response to that journey. She hopes that through these images you may share in her journey and enjoy the experience also.
