Beatrice Magalotti

Although quite new to exhibiting, Beatrice has worked in the visual arts for a number of years. The visual arts have been a large part of Beatrice’s life – she has worked in galleries and in Melbourne schools bringing art and art appreciation to the students.

Her sculptures have a sense of balance, the reworking involved in the course of the sculpture – the ability to take away or add to the piece until a balance is achieved – is an important part of the experience.  The process of change involved in its manufacture is an integral, if unseen, part of the final work.
